Bernard Alexander is a civil rights attorney at Alexander Krakow + Glick LLP focusing on plaintiff employment discrimination. An associate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, he has tried more than 40 cases to verdict in state and federal court. He chaired the California Employment Lawyer’s Association from 2013 to 2015 and serves on the executive committee of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Alexander has been recognized as one of the Top 75 California Labor and Employment Lawyers and one of the Top 100 Southern California Super Lawyers. He earned his JD at Southwestern Law School and his BA in English and Political Science from UCLA. He teaches Employment Dispute Mediation.

"For some people it is, but not for all of us. We can have relationships –romantic and friendships. But we often don't see that (in the media) because of the emphasis on sensationalism and 'othering' us."
