Yoojin Lee is a partner at McGuireWoods LLP, where she focuses her practice on representing financial institutions in domestic and international secured lending transactions, with an emphasis on asset based lending. Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Lee practiced law in Seoul, South Korea, in the areas of cross-border mergers and acquisitions and project finance.

Lee was selected as a representative for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder Program, honored by SFNet’s “40 and under 40” and the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys” list. Lee is on the firm’s Asian Pacific Lawyers Network, the Women Lawyers Network and is a volunteer with Kids In Need of Defense, where she provides pro bono representation of minors in their immigration proceedings.

Lee received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles.

"For some people it is, but not for all of us. We can have relationships –romantic and friendships. But we often don't see that (in the media) because of the emphasis on sensationalism and 'othering' us."
